The Ichthus retreat is a retreat just for our 9th graders that focuses on Identity, Community, and Transformation. We have curriculum designed specifically for students as they transition into high school and connect established small groups or those just discovering their faith potential.
This is designed to be a quieter, more reflective retreat where students can spend time with others who are entering into 9th grade. There will be time for worship, small discussion, experiential learning, meals and more. We highly encourage those adults who are directly investing in their lives, like small group leaders, Sunday school teachers, etc., to attend with their students.
This is an ideal retreat for:
Those churches who have divided jr. & sr. high programs, so that those who invest in the young can get to know the 9th grade students
9th grade classes that are larger and want to deepen their community
Small groups that are grade specific and can allow the adult volunteers working with that grade to really connect with those students
9th grade students with a lot of leadership potential that you want to transform and cultivate
Students who desire to increase their identity in Christ
The retreat is only $50, but space is limited and the deadline is August 18. The retreat will be held at Cho-Yeh, near Livingston We start around 11am on Saturday and depart around 3pm on Sunday.
